About this tool: Crop image
Crop a JPG, PNG or WebP to a centered or repositioned aspect ratio. Preview the selected area and download a new copy.
How to crop an image to an aspect ratio
- Choose one JPG, PNG or WebP image within 15 MiB and 40 megapixels.
- Choose an aspect ratio and move the crop position while checking the preview.
- Process the image, compare the result dimensions and file size, then download a separate copy. Keep the original.
When to use this tool
Choose a square, portrait or landscape frame when a profile, document or layout needs a different composition. Move the crop position to retain the important subject. Cropping cuts away the outside area without stretching the pixels inside.
Check before downloading
This editor offers six aspect ratios, not arbitrary pixel coordinates, circular masks or freehand shapes. The crop uses the largest fitting frame. Use Resize on the exported crop if you also need a specific maximum width.

A few things you might wonder.
Can I crop without stretching the picture?
Yes. The selected frame is cut from the source, preserving the shape of subjects inside it.
Can I choose an exact pixel width and height?
This crop tool offers fixed ratios and position controls. Use the separate resize tool afterward for a maximum output width.
Why does a position slider do nothing?
When the crop fills an entire source axis, there are no spare pixels on that axis. Try a different ratio to change which direction can move.
