About this tool: Rotate image
Rotate a JPG, PNG or WebP by 90, 180 or 270 degrees. Check the preview and export the corrected image.
How to rotate an image by 90, 180 or 270 degrees
- Choose one JPG, PNG or WebP image within 15 MiB and 40 megapixels.
- Choose a clockwise turn of 0°, 90°, 180° or 270° and check the preview.
- Process the image, compare the result dimensions and file size, then download a separate copy. Keep the original.
When to use this tool
Correct a sideways photograph, a scanned page or an upside-down image. Choose the clockwise angle and check readable text and the subject’s orientation in the preview before exporting.
Check before downloading
This tool supports right-angle turns rather than arbitrary-angle straightening. A 90° or 270° turn swaps width and height; 180° keeps them. Exporting encodes a new still image and omits metadata, so retain the source.

A few things you might wonder.
How do I rotate counterclockwise?
Select 270 degrees clockwise to make the same turn as 90 degrees counterclockwise.
Can I rotate by 5 degrees?
No. This tool offers fixed right-angle rotations, not arbitrary straightening.
Does rotating keep the file size unchanged?
No. The result is re-encoded, so its bytes can change even when the pixel count stays the same.
